Richard's Experience
I discovered and went to the very popular clothing optional (C.O.) Haulover
Public Beach just north of Miami. I wore a swim suit and laid down on my
beach chair. I have been nude many, many times for years on secluded
Florida beaches and wilderness areas when by myself only. But here, with
other people all around (men and women), I wasn't so sure I could get naked.
Finally, with much apprehension, I removed my one remaining piece of clothing
and was totally nude on a crowded public beach. It didn't matter to me
that most of them were naked, they weren't ME! I was prepared for and
expected to experience commotion from other beach users, like someone shouting
angrily "hey you can't do that here, what's the matter with you,..you pervert!"
It was almost a disappointment that no one seemed to care (at all) that I was
there sunbathing on the beach in wide open view without a stitch of clothes.
Actually why would they say anything on this particular stretch of sand, I
realized a few moments later. I just thought, somehow, they were allowed
to do it but not me. No one... said... anything. WOW,
how damned liberating!!
Freedom at last.
